The day before or day of the service the technician will call and confirm the appointment and confirm the above questions.

The hair technician will provide service for the client with the following precautions:

  • The hair technician will have each clients tools in a separate kit before and after the service to insure there is no cross contamination.
  • The hair technician will use hand sanitizer or wash her hands before and after she puts gloves on. The only time she will not use gloves is when she is styling and cutting hair.
  • All reusable metal and plastic tools will be sanitized between services for 10 minutes with Barbicide, ( see attached information on Barbicide regarding Covid-19)
  • The hair technician will clean up the hair from the cut using the clients broom, dustpan and garbage wearing gloves. We will also dispose of any product packaging used on the client at clients home. The only things the technician will take back with her are her metal tools and plastic tools used for hair design and her apron and goggles/visor. She will have a plastic bag in the car for her disposable gloves and a different bag for her apron and goggles/visor.
  • There will be times when it will be necessary to wash the client’s hair and provide service inside the home.  When this occurs the service will be done with the above precautions with the technician not touching anything in the home that is not necessary.

When the hair technician is back at home:

  • Gloves will be put in the garbage when she gets home, put the apron and work her clothes immediately in the laundry. Then she will shower before joining her family.
